What is an endangered species?

An endangered species is a specific plant or an animal that is very low in numbers (few left on earth) and is in danger of going extinct (no more left on earth) due to environmental or predatory issues, such as change in climate (temperature on earth) or increase in their number of predators
(things that hunt them).

Some examples of endangered species are:
